Mission:
Provide every foster child in North Texas 3B counties with the Best Christmas possible

Christmas Wish Project "CWP" is a volunteer 501c3 nonprofit, no-frills organization.

 

We work under the guidance of “Keep it simple … Don’t lose focus.”

For three months every year CWP works tirelessly to give North Texas 3B foster children the perfect gift with no administration expenses, 100% of all donations going to this cause.

Local Foster Agencies, Chosen Ones, Tarrant County and DFW Foster Parent Associations and Our Community Our Kids distribute CWP information to foster parents in October.  The foster parents then fill out an online form about their foster child and the child’s Christmas Wish.

With the help of generous supporters making monetary and gift donations, along with savvy CWP shoppers, a workshop is established in a donated warehouse to organize gifts.  The Foster Parents pick-up these specifically requested presents, allowing them to play Santa with their foster children on Christmas Day.

The idea is simple. Help foster parents make precious, long-lasting memories for their foster child.  While many children wish for their first bike or older teens wish for gift cards, the result is the same, foster children enjoying a simple childhood rite of passage that many of us take for granted.

 

In 2022, CWP granted wishes for more than 1,200 foster children. With your generosity, CWP can continue making a difference in the lives of children across North Texas.
