Donor Form Our organization is a small group of friends who gather each year with little or no fanfare to make Christmas wishes come true for the special Tarrant County Foster children in our community. We are a not for profit 501.C3 organization. We have a simple concept and a "no frills" budget with 100% of funds raised going towards the purchase of toys. Since 1989 our creativity and dedication has made it all work for the original mission. Once a volunteer becomes involved in this massive undertaking they become true believers. Our commitment is to make sure that every Foster child in Tarrant County gets a new gift that they have specifically asked for from "Santa". Bikes are the most requested item with gift cards from a clothing store for the teenagers, a close second. These foster children have been through so much and been deprived of so much in their young lives. We want them to know that they are lovingly deserving and important to our community and will receive what most other children will this Christmas. Our needs have continuously grown every year and so has our commitment to our community and its Foster Children. In 2010 we supplied “wishes” for 750 foster children and celebrated 24 years of giving! Who started this project? In 1989 Congress woman Kay Granger heard about a foster Mom's inability to provide Christmas for her eight (8) special needs foster children. She took care of that Christmas for the family and then expanded the idea to all of Tarrant County. Who do you serve? Tarrant County Foster Children living in Tarrant County Foster Homes or adjacent How do you contact the foster children? A letter or email is sent out to each foster home with the help of Child Protective Services, Tarrant County Foster Parents Association and other foster care agencies.

We can use donations of cash as well as specific gifts purchased by you for a specific foster child's wish. We are a 501C3 organization and send receipts for all donations. We will send letters to recipients you may want to honor or in memory of someone special to their family member for your donation. What type of gifts do you give the children? Bicycles are number one on the wish list. Each child is allowed to WISH for exactly what he/she wants, within a $60 spending limit. Teens often prefer gift cards, electronics etc..
